OBJECTIVES and COMPETENCES
Objectives:
- To recognize the different types of conditional clauses;
- To identify the conditional patterns from mixed conditional clauses;
- To make the difference in the meaning of a sentence when IF is replaced with its alternatives;
- To explain the topic of a sentence when IF is omitted.
Competences (At the end of this lesson the students will be able to):
- identify in a given context the types of conditional clauses;
- explain the difference between the types of conditional clauses(concerning the fact/situation/event they express);
- explain the use of mixed conditional clauses
- explain the changes in the topic of a sentence when IF is omitted;
- identify the alternatives to IF in a given context.
